Kim-Ha Nguyen is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) who brings more than 19 years of experience to her role as Senior Managing Director at U.S. Capital Advisors. Within this position, she provides top-level fee-based investment management and comprehensive financial planning services to high net-worth clients. Kim-Ha is dedicated to identifying her clients’ vision for their future and helps them pursue their goals through applying her extensive industry knowledge to their unique financial landscape. Her innate personal drive is centered on ensuring clients have a peace of mind throughout each financial endeavor.

Kim-Ha’s background includes 12 years at UBS Financial Services Inc. where she was Vice President of Investments before joining the U.S. Capital Advisors team in 2011. Prior to launching her career in Finance in 1999, she spent 18 years as an IT Consultant in the Energy sector. Kim-Ha received her B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Houston in 1982 where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. In 2003, she earned her CFP® designation.

Giving back to the community is very important to Kim-Ha. She currently serves as a member of the USCA Insurance Committee and as Chairman for the Girls’ School of Austin. Previously, she served as President and Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Asian/Pacific American Heritage Association and as Trustee for the University Psychology Advisory Council. Kim-Ha continues to support her favorite charities such as: the March of Dimes, The American Cancer Society, The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Goodwill and The SPCA, to name a few.

Kim-Ha and her husband David live in Austin. They have three grown sons. In her spare time, Kim-Ha enjoys running, hiking and spending time with her family.
