Mr. Bauman is a Senior Managing Director and Founding Advisor of the firm.  He began his career in 1994 as a currency trader with Ruesch International.  He joined Merrill Lynch’s Middle Markets group in 1995, and began working with private clients at Merrill Lynch in 1998.  Four years later Mr. Bauman moved his retirement consulting business to UBS.  In 2010, he and his team opened the doors at USCA as the founding team.

Christian comes from an energy family with both his father and grandfather working for and retiring from Exxon and ExxonMobil. His family left the United States when he was four, and he did not return on a permanent basis until he attended Tufts University for college. Spending so much of his younger years in Europe, Africa, and Latin America has given him an appreciation and love for his adopted hometown, Houston.

Christian and wife Jennifer have four great kids.  They are very active with their church and the many schools that their children attend.
