HOUSTON, TX (Sept. 5, 2012) - U.S. Capital Advisors LLC ("USCA") announced today that Bart Barnett has joined the company as a Managing Director and senior trader in the firm's Institutional Client Group. Prior to joining USCA, Mr. Barnett was with Morgan Keegan, where he was a Managing Director and Head of Listed Trading. Bart's responsibilities at USCA will include delivering the firm's institutional trading capabilities to new and existing clients across North America.

Mr. Barnett joins USCA with 21 years of trading experience; starting his career in New York with Merrill Lynch and then working as an equity trader at firms including Montgomery Securities prior to joining Morgan Keegan in 2002. Bart graduated with a BA from Columbia University in 1990. While at Columbia, he was an accomplished collegiate athlete playing both football and baseball and was first team "All Ivy" in both sports.
