Titus Harris

Managing Director

Mr. Harris is a Managing Director in the Wealth Management Group of U.S. Capital Advisors.  He provides individually designed investment strategies and investment management services for individuals and family offices.

Mr. Harris was previously a Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor at Sanders Morris Harris for eight years.  He provided private wealth management services for high-net-worth clients at Sanders Morris Harris, a firm co-founded by his father, Titus Harris, Jr.  Prior to that time he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of two different publicly traded NASDAQ-listed companies.  From 1999 until 2002, Mr. Harris was EVP and CFO of Industrial Holdings, Inc., which owned and operated a diversified group of industrial manufacturing and distribution businesses.  IHI was acquired by T3 Energy Services in the fall of 2001.  For 13 years prior to his time at IHI, Mr. Harris was EVP and CFO of The GNI Group, Inc., which was a Texas-based chemical manufacturing and waste transportation, treatment and disposal company.  In his capacity as Chief Financial Officer at both IHI and GNI, Mr. Harris provided oversight in numerous public and private debt and equity transactions.

Mr. Harris is a graduate of Washington and Lee University and holds an M.B.A. in Finance from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.  He is actively involved with CanCare, Inc., an organization providing support to cancer patients and their families, the CCA Texas Fund (the investment entity associated with the Coastal Conservation Association), the Lupus Foundation of America, Texas Gulf Coast Chapter, and The Brookwood Community, an organization providing spiritual, educational and vocational opportunities for adults with special needs.  Mr. Harris is an avid golfer and represents the fifth generation of a well-known Galveston family.
