Stephen Hines is a Managing Director at U.S. Capital Advisors in Houston.  Steve, along with Doug Masterson, form a two-member team that has been together for over two decades.  They bring comprehensive investment experience and knowledge when serving the unique needs of high net worth individuals, accredited investors and corporate clients.

Mr. Hines has more than 30 years of financial investments experience.  Prior to joining USCA in 2016, Steve was most recently President of Amegy Investments, Inc., the broker-dealer subsidiary of Amegy Bank in Houston. He spent more than 14 years working at Amegy.  Before joining Amegy, Steve was a Private Client Investment Advisor with J.P. Morgan / Chase /Texas Commerce Bank from 1993 to 2001.  He began his career in 1983 with American Capital Financial Services with stops at Wells Fargo and First City Brokerage along the way.

Mr. Hines attended Texas State University (formerly Southwest Texas State University) and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance.  Mr. Hines resides in Cypress, Texas with his wife and their three children.
