Mr. Selzer is a Managing Director and Financial Advisor at U.S. Capital Advisors (USCA).  He joined USCA in 2010 from UBS Financial Services, after beginning his career in the financial services industry in 1995 at AIM Investments in Qualified Plan Services.  Subsequently, he moved on to Merrill Lynch as a part of the Paths of Achievement (POA) Financial Advisor training program. 

Scott focuses on comprehensive financial, retirement and wealth management planning almost exclusively for retirees in the oil & gas industry.  Starting his career in Qualified Plans, he learned early on the importance of retirement planning and optimizing the potential of these plans. 

He currently holds his Series 7, 66 and General Lines Insurance licenses and has spent over 20 years in the industry. 

Scott graduated from the University of Texas in 1994, where he met his wife Melissa.  They have three children.  He enjoys and dedicates the majority of his free time volunteering, managing, coaching and cheering on his kids sports teams.  He is also a life-long Astros, Longhorns, Rockets and Texans fan.
