Kim-Ha Nguyen is a Senior Managing Director at U.S. Capital Advisors. She joined the Firm in October 2011 after 12 years at UBS Financial Services Inc. where she was a Vice President of Investments. Kim-Ha provides comprehensive financial planning to high net worth individuals. Her clients include professionals and executives in the technology, energy, and healthcare industries.
Kim-Ha received her undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the University of Houston in 1982, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and later earned her Certified Financial Planner® designation in 2003. Kim-Ha spent 18 years as an Information Technology Consultant in the Energy Industry before beginning her career in Finance in 1999.
Giving back to the community is very important to Kim-Ha. She previously served as President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Asian/Pacific American Heritage Association. Currently, she is a member of the board for the Girls School of Austin and the University Psychology Advisory Council. Kim-Ha continues to support her favorite charities such as: the March of Dimes, The American Cancer Society, The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, The National Sports Center for the Disabled, and The SPCA, to name a few.
Kim-Ha and her husband David live in Austin. They have three grown sons.
