Joe Klein is a Managing Director at U.S. Capital Advisors in Houston. Joe, along with Doug Masterson and Steve Hines, form a three-member team that has been together for over two decades. They bring comprehensive investment experience and knowledge when serving the unique needs of high net worth individuals, accredited investors and corporate clients.
Joe has been a private client advisor in the Houston area for more than 26 years. Prior to joining U.S. Capital Advisors in 2016, Joe worked with high net worth individuals for Amegy Investments, Inc. (a wholly owned subsidiary of Amegy Bank of Texas) from 2001 through 2015 and within the Private Bank at JP Morgan Chase from 1989 until 2001. Joe began his financial career with Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner and Smith, working with individuals and corporate clients on the Merrill Lynch Consults Wealth Management platform.
Joe has extensive experience with stock option exercises, Rule 144 stock sales, and 10b5-1 trading plans, as well as corporate cash management. In addition, Joe has structured bond portfolios from $100,000 to $75,000,000.
Joe obtained his undergraduate degree in marketing from Florida State University. Joe also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Network for Family Recovery and is a life member of the Houston Live Stock Show and Rodeo, as well as the 100 Club.
