Dec 3 (Reuters) - Patrick Mendenhall, an ex-UBS manager who started his own firm earlier this year, has landed another blow against his former employer, nabbing a $3.1 million UBS adviser team.

David Harris and Ann Deaton joined Mendenhall's US Capital Advisors in Houston late Thursday, according to filings with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
